The Adršpach-Teplice Rocks National Reserve

The national nature reserve since 1933. The largest, homogeneous rock town made of sandstone in the Central Europe. The land of rock straits, spires, walls and passageways. A possibility of boating on the rock lake. Many beautiful viewpoints. Circular routes for visitors open year-round.

Rocks in Adršpach are characterised by a remarkably densely placed rock spires, ravines, narrow passageways, rock walls, etc. The forces of nature formed in sandstones various shapes, and the human imagination gave them romantic names, such as: The Lovers, the Jug, the Mayor and Mayoress, the pillars of sugar, etc. The little Adršpach Lake was formed on the Metuje River which flowed through the upper part of Vlčí rokle. Tourists are transported through the lake on a boat and admire the Great Waterfall. You can admire the view to most of the Adršpašské skály from the ruins of the Adršpach rock castle, located at the top of Starozámecký vrch
