Szczyrk is a very popular winter sports resort.
The highest number of cablecars in Poland, the Skrzyczne chairlift, 60 km of easy as well as difficult ski slopes, most of them with artificial snow and lights, together with ski jumping centres can all be found here. The towns of Wisla, Ustron, Korbielow, Brenna and Istebna also have a well-developed winter sports infrastructure.
