The Historic Narrow-Gauge Railway Station in Rudy

Historical narrow-gauge railway station from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.

The narrow-gauge railway in Rudy is one of the greatest attractions of the Industrial Monuments Route of the Silesian Province. Here visitors can admire, among others, the station building, three-track locomotive hall, water tower, as well as eight locomotives and several cars. The greatest attraction, however, is taking a ride in historic train cars on two routes. The first one, between the stations Rudy - Paproć – Rudy, takes ca. 30 minutes. The second route to and from Stanica lasts about one hour. Apart from travelling by train cars, you can also use a hand-operated trolley. You can literally move back in time by visiting the Ruda station.

The railway operates in summer, while the station in Rudy is open to visitors all year round. Alongside the railway-related attractions, there is also a children's line park and a restaurant.
