We probably all known fairy tales starring the legendary character of the clown.
However, it is also possible to discover the stories of other puppets during a tour of the Museum of Puppet Culture in Chrudim which was opened to the public in 1972 and whose exhibitions include more than nine thousand puppets from all over the world. In addition to the popular Czech characters of Spejbl and Hurvínek, you can also see shadow puppets from distant Indonesia or a Vietnamese water puppet. Various interesting cultural events are also held there throughout the entire year.
