It looks this way thanks to a longlasting renovation (from 1866 to 1945), as well as thanks to the flair and imagination of the constructors. The Tiele-Winckler family’s residence has 365 rooms and 99 towers. Right next to the castle, there is an orangery surrounded by the park complex, with centuries-old oak and lime trees, azaleas and rhododendrons. From 1984 the castle has been hosting the Musical Festival of the Blooming Azalea – the classical music festival.
