In recent years, there has been an increasing number of enthusiasts of water sports and kayaking.
They can make use of newly built kayak marinas on the Odra River. In recent years, five of them have been built along the section from Bogumin to Racibórz - in Bogumin-Pudłowo, Stary Bogumin, Zabełkowo, Krzyżanowice and Racibórz. Next to each marina there is an information board detailing the nearby section of the river.
The water route Chałupki - Racibórz is marked and is ca. 28 km long. It can be divided into three sections: the Chałupki - Zabełków section - about 7 km long, boating time 1.5-2.5 hours; the Zabełków - Krzyżanowice section - about 6 km long, time ca. 1 hour; the Krzyżanowice - Racibórz section – ca. 15 km long, time 2.5-3.5 hours. You can go on boats, canoes and pontoons. In the summer season, boating is organised along the Odra River trail. Those who do not have their own equipment can rent it from the rental point in Bohumín, at the ”Meander” Kayaking Club in Chałupki or at the WAKA rental office in Racibórz.
