The Stachelberg fortifications complex was built in 1937–1938 in a place called Babí u Trutnova located at the eastern fringe of the Krkonoše Mountains, as a part of fortifications system of the pre-war Czechoslovakia.
Apart from the exhibition, in the building you can see a series of models of old military equipment as well as particular fortification objects. The exhibition includes also one of its kind panoramic model of the entire fortification system with the dimension of 3x6 metres presenting the fortress after construction planned for 1939.
