A permanent exhibition on the history of railway transport. A historical steam depot from the end of the 19th century presents in authentic surroundings the times when steam ruled the rails.
In the steam depot, located near the railway station in Jaroměř, you can see steam locomotives and diesel locomotives, a collection of passenger cars and freight wagons from various periods of the railroading and other various railway machinery. The steam depot had operated steam locomotives until 1981, when steam was no longer used. In the steam depot rotunda, there is a parking space for 8 locomotives, there is also a railway turntable for turning steam locomotives, a container for ash with a water crane, as well as a place for supplying locomotives in coal.
