These are sanatorium facilities of more than a hundred years of tradition.
The spa specialises primarily in rehabilitation of patients with diseases of the movement apparatus, patients after injuries, before treatments and after bone and joint surgeries. It gained recognition thanks to the local, very dense peat bog. It’s actually peat rock dated back to the Cretaceous Period, sourced by water containing calcium carbonate and iron. The deposit located near the spa premises has a supply of the precious peat rock for 150–200 years
